		<description>Great post! Most writers would have read hundreds of books before actually writing any. Most movie directors watch hundreds of movies before making any. Likewise, reading good code is a great way to improve ones coding skills.

Me? Reading NetBeans code improved my Swing skills considerably. The code to java.util package is a good read too. Reading Dojo code helped my understanding of JavaScript. I have tried reading initial versions of JBoss (2.x) code too.

I had not thought of reading tests of OSS projects; thanks for the tip!</description>
